Inskip Point is the doorway to Fraser Island. While holidaying on the Cooloola Coast, you must take your time to explore Inskip Point and World Heritage Listed Fraser Island.

Fraser provides many attractions for the traveler - rainforests, beaches, inland lakes and so much more. Why not stay on Fraser at a resorts or a national park camping ground. There's camping sites at Cathedral Beach.

What is so special about Fraser Island?

It is actually the largest sand Island in the world and it is home to untouched freshwater lakes and creeks with many of the rarest dune lakes in the world.

The lakes and ocean are home to tortoises, turtles, dolphins, dugongs and humpback whales. The humpback whales are likely to migrate to the waters of Fraser in late July to early November.
